On October 8, 2025, the therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) hands-on workshop will be held as part of the Valladolive event. This advanced course is designed for experienced endoscopists who want to develop or refine their skills in interventional techniques. All procedures will be performed on artificial models only, ensuring a realistic and reproducible learning experience.

Course Structure

• Duration: 1 day, split into two sessions (morning and afternoon).
• Total participants: Up to 48 trainees (24 per session).
• Hands-On Stations: 4 rotating stations.
• Optimized Trainer-Trainee Ratio: 6 trainees per station; in HGS and CDS stations, participants will be split into groups of 3 due to the higher technical demands required for these interventions.
• Estimated faculty: 6–12 experts, plus 6–12 fellows or assistants.

Stations:

• Hepaticogastrostomy (HGS): Training in the Seldinger technique and SEMS stent placement.
• Choledochoduodenostomy (CDS): Participants may choose between Axios (“standard” CDS) or SEMS (practicing Seldinger technique), depending on their individual level of experience and prior training.
• Lumen-Apposing Metal Stents (LAMS): Practice with different LAMS (Axios, Spaxus, Z-EUS).

Endohepatology: Liver biopsy technique and portal pressure measurement.
